I didn't make any NY resolutions this year, but last year I had 'do risk management more effectively' and I can't say that I remember doing much differently. What resolutions have you made for this year, and did you keep any from last year? Saving Changes...
Last year, I had "do some sports" as resolution, so finally, on December 31st, I went for a 5-hour walk. Kinda last minute, but I guess it fits the bill.
This time, I lacked inspiration, so my new year resolution is "wing it". Saving Changes...

Julien, what an excellent resolution. I might borrow that!

My resolution for this year is to improve my brain. Seriously, it is. As an over-50 guy, I am surprised at how difficult it is to remember obvious things and how easy it is to recall things that happened nearly fifty years ago. The other night, I could not remember the name of the actress that starred in "Miss Cogeniality" who happens to be one of my favorite actresses, yet I could remember vividly the first time I went to McDonalds in 1965. Mark, do you have any strategies for improving your memory? What are you going to try?
The older relatives in my family swear by doing jigsaw puzzles. Saving Changes...

Yep, I have heard puzzles and games are helpful for improving memory. Here in the US, a company called Luminosity has been promoting their products on TV, which seem like games, and they offer a trial for their services. I will be giving them a try. I will keep you posted on progress, if I can remember to..! Thanks..! Saving Changes...

My resolution is to try to enjoy life more. There have been many stressful events happening in my life the last three years and I have found that life has not been too enjoyable. So I am resolving to focus more on doing things that I've always wanted to do, taking a little more time for "me" things and to stop trying to solve everyone's problems.
I too am over 50, so I also want to work on improving both my mind and my body so I can enjoy life for a long time yet. :)
