In a presentation to non-project managers, I hope to use examples of high-profile non-software projects (such as the iPhone, famous product iterations, etc.). I know that Lego famously uses SAFe Framework with Agile Teams which is one example. Are there any other specific products or other examples I'm missing? I'm also trying to think through historic achievements that used a more Agile-like framework that could be an example. Saving Changes...

Michael, I wouldn't call them Agile methodologies as Agile is a mindset and the capstone under which many frameworks and possibly methodologies fall. On our construction projects, we use Hybrid Approach but I am not familiar with examples in the IT world, however, I would be interested to see what others has to say to this interesting question. The Microsoft X-box is an example similar to the I-phone where the architecture was designed around using software updates to avoid hardware redesign.
The Shard, a 95 floor building in London used a digital twin to enable iterative design approaches like optimizing the structure to maximize the usable interior volume in consideration of what best supports different uses like restaurants vs. hotel space.
Invisalign dental appliances are an easily relatable hybrid agile solution to straightening teeth. It starts predictive with a digital scan of the patients mouth to determine the desired motion paths of the teeth. Every 10 days, a new "tray" is used to move the teeth 0.1mm more. The orthodontist checks periodically to determine if the plan is working and adjusts things along the way such as the bite surfaces or enlarging spaces between the teeth to allow further movement. A process that might take several years with traditional braces adjusted in-office every month can be reduced to under a year by enabling more frequent adjustments with some less frequent office visits needed.
