Online Community Champions are a group of volunteers who:
- Start meaningful discussions and ensure that posts receive a response in the discussion forums on ProjectManagement.com
- Provide community members with help and support as they interact and engage with one another
- Suggest ways to improve the discussion forum experience to PMI's Online Community and Product teams

You can identify these volunteers by the "Community Champion" label next to their name. They're here to help you get the most out of the ProjectManagement.com discussion forums!

Joao Sarmento Senior Project/Program Manager| UNITEL Luanda, Luanda, Angola

It's an honor and privilege to be a part of this initiative, but also a big commitment to our vibrant community!

Throughout the years I've grown and become a better PM, both by learning and engaging with our peers and also by sharing with them! Many of our challenges are common, while other are more specific, and tapping on the knowledge and experience of such experts was a transforming experience!

Both here and in my country and chapter, volunteering made me a better PM while growing and grooming our community strong! Giving back makes us all stronger!

Sharing is caring! We are stronger together!

Thank you, Laura. One of the ways to continue my learning passion is to give back. I volunteer for PMI on several platforms because it gives me self-fulfillment, career advancement, and networking with great professionals around the world.
