Excited to announce that I will be presenting on Resilience in Turbulent Times: Strategies for Project Managers during the upcoming Global Summit Series 2024. This session aims to delve into the heart of navigating projects through the unpredictability and challenges of today's dynamic environment. I'll be sharing insights, strategies, and real-life case studies on how project managers can cultivate resilience, adapt to change, and drive their teams toward success, even when faced with adversity.

But before I take the stage, I'd love to hear from you:

What's the biggest challenge you've faced as a project manager during turbulent times? How did you overcome it?
What questions do you have about building resilience as a project manager? Are there specific strategies or areas you're curious about?

Your experiences, challenges, and questions will not only enrich our session but also ensure we cover the most relevant and impactful areas.

Please share your thoughts, stories, and questions in the comments below. Help me tailor this presentation to truly reflect the needs and interests of our project management community.

Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing many of you at the Global Summit Series 2024! #ProjectManagement #Resilience #GlobalSummit2024

See you there, Essowe.

Talking about resilience, I refer you to an HBR article (01/2016), 'The biology of corporate survival' by Martin Reeves and Simon Levin. They describe 6 principles found in nature that make beings resilient. Three of them are structural (diversity, modularity, and redundancy), and three are dynamic (prudence, agile, and embeddedness). I found this applicable to projects and individuals too.

Hello Essowe Abalo - thanks for the opportunity to discuss this important topic.

In the arena of work/life balance, self-care, emotional intelligence, and overall mental health, one of the most important tools is clear and accurate self-awareness. The phrase "Know thyself" from ancient Greece gets at the heart of this issue. While knowing good coping practices and healthy habits is important, knowing what coping practices and healthy habits are best for your personality and tendencies is even better.

I hope that your presentation goes well and will help many to find ways to be successful and content in difficult circumstances.
