Hello,  I am scheduled to complete my CAPM exam in May.  The new edition,  any tips and pointers? Would study hall be beneficial?  so far getting 60% on my prep exams, need to improve.

Thanks!

Tiffany, here is what I suggest you do:

1) If you want a course to fulfill your Educational Hours then check Joseph Phillips courses on Udemy. He is a PMI ATP, a great instructor and his courses are self-paced and very affordable. Alternatively, you can check out PMI's self-paced course in the PMI Store (It was previously called PM Basics and was the official PMI prep course for the CAPM exam but PMI launched a new course to replace it, the PMI® Authorized On-Demand Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep Course").

2) Besides PMI Study resources and guides (Read the Exam Content Outline in details, PMBOK 6th and 7th Editions as I believe both are relevant), I highly recommend you purchase Rita Mulchay’s CAPM Exam Prep book, I think 5th edition is the latest, but double check. This is one of the best resources for exam preparation.

3) After you are done, purchase the Simulator Package through PM Prep Cast and practice as much as you can. This is a great CAPM simulator and resource for questions that mimic the real exam.

Hope this helps - Let me know if you have further questions - Good Luck!
