I passed both the PMP and PMI-ACP exams with flying colors within one month in January 2024. I would suggest that you focus on understanding the Project Management and Agile mindsets rather than trying to remember them. Once you grasp the mindset, passing the certification will become much easier.
Thanks Danny.., those pointers were correct. Passed with 7xAT Saving Changes...

Kunal -
If you have sufficient agile delivery experience, the ACP is not a tricky exam. I used Andy Crowe's self-study book which included a number of practice questions and I was able to complete the exam in under one hour.
It does require a good understanding of the values & principles from the Manifesto, a solid understanding of the Scrum framework with some knowledge of XP and Kanban and the ability to calculate and use velocity.

Thanks Kiron for the invaluable advice.., helped a lot Saving Changes...

Practice exams are crucial. They not only familiarize you with the question format but also highlight areas needing further review. Engaging in study groups can offer different perspectives and explanations to deepen understanding. The overlap between ACP and PMP syllabuses is significant yet distinct. While PMP has a broader focus on project management principles and processes, ACP emphasizes agile methodologies and practices. The questions in each exam reflect these focuses, with PMP questions being more about traditional project management practices and ACP questions centered around Agile principles and techniques. Despite the differences, studying for one can benefit the other to some extent, especially in areas like risk management, stakeholder engagement, and communication, which are relevant across both exams. However, the specific agile practices and mindset emphasized in ACP are less prominent in the PMP exam content.
Absolutely correct Annah.., there is clear distinction and distillation in between which needs to be understood and exemplified thru various use cases. Saving Changes...
Good luck with your exams Abiola.., it surely requires a lot of grit and preparation as other members have pointed out. Easier than PMP and requires you to think in very agile ways about project management.
Thanks, Kunal. Saving Changes...

Congratulations Kunal! I am preparing for the exam and also hope to share my success story soon.
I also just passed my ACP with all 7 'Above Targets' I used Mike Griffiths PMI ACP Exam Prep book, watched (or moreso 'listened to while driving) David McLachlan's Youtube videos (200 PMI Agile questions), and the PocketPrep for PMI ACP on my phone when i'm waiting or bored somewhere i would fire up a 'quick 10' quiz and it was pretty handy.
