The constant changes in society and civilization make enterprises vary their strategic objectives frequently, to adapt to new circumstances.  At this time, ¿what are the main criteria you use to set these important strategic goals?

I'd be concerned if organizations update their strategic objectives frequently as if they are truly strategic, those objectives likely take some effort and time to achieve. How they achieve those objectives (e.g. tactics) might change frequently.

Regardless, strategic objectives should be derived from ongoing strategic planning and they need to align back to the mission and values of the organization.

The problem is the use of "to adapt". Organizations must create the new circunstances. This is the key difference between agile or not. Examples? A lot. But just to name some that I have the pleasure to work in: Apple and Google.
