I've been managing construction projects (from Real Estate Acquisition up to and including Client Move in) for over 20 years. If I do say so myslef, I'm dam good at it. Never before considered CPM or CPI-CP. I took the PMP exam without prep and failed miserably. Now I have taken a prep course and I'm feeling (IMHO) the PMP philosophy does not apply to construction projects, so should I go PMI-CP? There isn't any (free) info on what CPI-CP looks like and I am looking forward to your webinar. Thanks.

Hi Robert, my apologies for the delayed response!
The difference with the PMI-CP is that it is a curriculum of learning that was developed for the industry BY the industry! We engaged leading experts in the industry from all over the world to identify the biggest pain points they were experiencing, and the curriculum was designed to address those pain points. It is not a theoretical approach, but rather a tactical solution of tools, techniques and processes that will be able to be utilized immediately for results.

Great presentation! The first time I attended a PMI-CP presentation with the OhioNE chapter, Bob presented the materials. I thought it was great! I just completed my fourth course and will now prepare for the exam. The materials were excellent.

Robert Maiale: I did miss this webinar and waiting for it to become available on-demand. I know Dr. Manar very well as we worked together for the same organization that he is still working for (Consolidated Contrators).

Regarding the PMI-CP, I have more than 20 years of experience in construction management and I was one of the very first individuals to earn this credential and I can attest that the journey added lots of value to me as a professional. The courses are very well structured and contain a wealth of information which gave me different perspectives on many things like Technologg, LPS, and much more.
