Projects that are part of multiple programmes?

Hi, I've been asked to help set up a programme within an organisation where some of the projects already exist among other existing programmes within the business. Is it possible to have projects that are part of more than one programme? I don't think I have come across this before. Am I missing something?

I agree with Rami and Sergio. If possible, eliminate the project from various programs, and try that it belongs only to one. Multiple dependencies in a level of programs aren't practical.

If you are conducting a project based on features, the multi-dependence is more manageable when a feature is developed by various work teams; For programs, the panorama is different, since programs are created to take advantage of managing groups of projects that are related, and the belonging of a project to multiple programs rest significance to the program concept.
