I've maintained my PMP certification since 2011.  Lately, my company has started to lean more towards agile methodolgies and as a result I feel it's time to jump in and get suitably certified.  Would you recommend PMI-ACP in this regard or something different?

My recommendation is going to for a certification related to agile that will be requested in the future. And mainly related to the method/framework that has been selected by your company. No matter that, just to comment, I am PMI-ACP certified. Adding to that I have other specific to the framework it is used in my company.

Ellen, I personally did benefit a lot from going through the PMI-ACP journey. It's a good credential and I do highly recommend it as you will learn a lot about the different agile frameworks, principles, valueS and much more.

Another option to consider is the DASSM but I recommend you do so after your PMI-ACP.

Ellen -

Do you have sufficient hands-on experience leading agile teams using a variety of different approaches (e.g. time boxed, continuous flow)? If so, then certainly a certification such as the PMI-ACP, DASSM or other non-framework focused one would be an asset.

I've gained so much from my experience with PMI-ACP, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you continue to pursue continuous learning. In an increasingly challenging and dynamic world, a solid understanding of Agile principles can be incredibly valuable.

You can also do the micro-credential.

"Agile Hybrid Project Pro™ is a new Micro-Credential (online course paired with a non-proctored online exam) that validates you have upskilled and aligned to the new PMP which include Agile and Hybrid approaches. The product helps hybrid project managers demonstrate their hybrid project management expertise. There is no application process, so simply take the course, pass the exam and add the digital badge to your profile and resume."
