Making free booklets

Hello people!

Will PMI get mad at me if I started to make free booklets for people who don't have enough resources?

I'm not copy and pasting anything, I just dragged to my personal GPT PMI books, trusted authors and tools it needed it to structure the chapters.

So it's not in fact plagiarism, but it's using PMI books such as PMBOK and other books like "Business Analysis for Practitioners" to generate chapters for me based on the subject of the booklet. It's a "baseline".

I'm making this in order to help people in Brazil, since there's no pt-br guidebook for CAPM or either PM tips for normal people in their everyday life in a language that they can understand, and for free. All my booklets will be free.

I have a lot of ideas, but I have to make sure that dragging books to my personal gpt and structuring thiese booklets and publishing then for free, constitutes an infraction in any PMI's policy.

Matheus, I think you should discuss this closely with PMI before embarking on a journey like that to avoid any copyrights or others issues. Try contacting PMI and see if they can connect you with the right department to discuss with them.

Thank you sir Kaibni, I have necessarily to contact the international institute or I can contact PMI Chapter of Sao Paulo, for an example? I would love to do some volunteer work in that way, and I believe I can have a straighter communication with the Chapter. As I said, I'm only interested in working towards spreading free knowledge to people that need it, no comercial interest involved.

Matheus, you're welcome. I think it is best if you contact PMI Headquarters. Regarding volunteering, this is a great idea, maybe you can volunteer to help translate some standards to Portuguese if PMI are planning on that. Check on the VRMS system (PMI Volunteer System) and see if there are any available opportunities. This is the best platform to stay up to date with volunteering opportunities within PMI.
