Team PMI Infinity is working to build a prompt library to better support project professionals in their use of PMI's GenAI tool, Infinity ( https://infinity.pmi.org/ ).
The Vision! The PMI Infinity Prompt Library will be a curated repository of prompts created and vetted by the PMI community. These prompts help achieve a specific outcome for project managers, such as learning or performing a task. The prompt library will be made available within Infinity.
Submit Your Prompts! As a practicing project manager, what prompts have you found helpful and relevant when utilizing PMI Infinity?
Prompts will be reviewed by SMEs for their utility and criteria fit, and successful prompts will be expanded upon and added to the library along with the submitter's name and profile link.

I think it would be good to have more tailoring depending on the specific industry. I think that Risk Management is a great topic, in addition to all the ones listed above. Risk Management is typically the area where the maturity and seniority of project manager is measured/evaluated. Saving Changes...

According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), project managers spend roughly 90% of their time on communication. This highlights the vital importance of robust leadership, communication abilities, and particular tools and behaviors in project success. As a practicing project manager, I believe that utilizing timely and efficient communication cues could be extremely advantageous and relevant when employing PMI Infinity. Hi there Gabrielle.
I'm a little disappointed in PMI Infinity, using the same prompts in Infinity and ChatGPT.... well, ChatGPT is more focused and presents better results (as in alignment with best practices)...
For the following prompts
"you are an expert project manager holding a PMP certification and has wide experience in managing risks. you'll advise me on several topics. Wait for further prompts"
"please walk me through the manage issues topic of the ECO...."
PMI Infinity quotes ECO as ECO (Entrepreneurship and Community Outreach) and forgot to mention Issue Log ....
so right now I'm leaning on chatgpt, copilot or gemini to work. Saving Changes...
As an AI trainer, I've found that creating a custom database and training your AI using specific prompts or Python code is far more effective. This approach addresses two major concerns with using models like ChatGPT. Firstly, it avoids potential privacy issues, such as unintentionally sharing data with third parties like Google. Secondly, it mitigates the risk of receiving generic, popular responses that may not necessarily apply to your specific situation. To see this in action, conduct a simple experiment: Share example files (Excel, Word, PDF) containing non-sensitive data with the AI and request specific calculations. You'll likely notice that the AI cannot perform the task accurately without multiple prompt adjustments, illustrating the need for a more customized AI solution in your workflows.

Hi Odysseas, I totally agree with you. Being you an AI trainer, can you suggest me some sources to help me understand how to perform what you suggest? I really would like to give it a try. Thanks

Hello Vincenzo,
Thank you for your comment. An easy way to test this is through the ChatGPT4 paid version. You can use the "Explore GPTs" function to create a GPT assistant. From there, upload your files and build your own database. Test it with some prompts to perform calculations or get specific results from your database. After many prompts, once the results are satisfactory, you can ask ChatGPT to generate Python code for use in your subsequent calculations. If you are part of a company and have colleagues knowledgeable in Python, the best option would be the "ChatGPT Enterprise" level. This ensures that no data is shared publicly, maintaining your privacy.

One potential negative aspect of using the ChatGPT4 paid version with the "Explore GPTs" function is the cost of accessing these advanced features. Depending on the pricing structure, it may be prohibitive for some individuals or organizations, significantly smaller businesses, or individuals on limited budgets. Additionally, while generating Python code for subsequent calculations can be convenient, it may lead to over-reliance on automated processes, potentially reducing the need for human involvement and critical thinking. There's also the risk of misinterpreting or misusing the results generated by AI, especially if users lack a deep understanding of the underlying principles or context. Finally, although the "ChatGPT Enterprise" level offers enhanced privacy measures, there may still be concerns about data security and the potential for data breaches, especially when dealing with sensitive information.
