I have a strong interest in the various PSA suites, which integrate PM and related functions. Do you have any insights, comparisons, etc.?

Kenneth,
Have you looked at DecisionDirector a product offered by Advantiv.

http://www.advantiv.com/

I will research more companies and post them in the Vendors and Markets Channel. One of the things I am working on developing is a database or a matrix that lists companies, their products and capabilities for comparison.

Currently, we are looking for recommended vendors whom have developed and implemented a Project Management methodology. Any suggestions?

Methodology in what context? Have you looked at Gantthead's PM processes?

Beth, just finding or purchasing a methodology is not enough. You need to have a practice manager that knows project management and how to implement a methodology. The practice manager needs to be charasmatic enough to lead everyone, from executives through project team members, through the process including a Governance process, whatever templates and toolkits are selected, training, project reviews, and total buy-in. I have implemented methodologies at a number of companies and it is critical that the executives understand and support the methodology so everyone will be accountable for consistent delivery. This is a paradigm shift, not just the introduction of a process. Well executed, it can lead to a lot of freedom and job satisfaction.

I am new at this forum but could not be without writing something now.
For the past about 4 years I have myself been working for couple of companies that have previously run projects and implementations without a real structure and project like approach. Now little by little things are changing globally within these customers and some of the change is thanks to my work but also thanks for the changing environment of the corporations and also the mixture of cultures in the employees.
The "skeleton" of my work has been one application called eRoom which brings some basic tools to manage both the projects and documents, thus giving me a base to build some knowledge/information management inside those customers.
The reason for me coming up here and reading all the different postings, is simply to be able to find new ways for me to evaluate my tasks and others, to maybe find new ideas and methologies to proceed in some projects that require behavior, I am not aware of..
