Any suggestions on a tool that will download mainframe files to a web server and parse out the files into reports than can either be viewed online or distributed to recipient inboxes? I haven't found anything that fits the bill yet and am getting the feeling that I may be looking at a development project instead of a tool implementation. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Sounds to me like a Perl program would fit the bill nicely. You will need a relatively experienced Perl programmer, and with any luck, they can get any needed sample code off the internet for additional efficiency and speed. Saving Changes...

What is the Operating System on the web server?NT?Unix? It will be kind of painfull to get Perl running on NT.I'll go with a simple custom solution using sometype of XML transformer/VB Program/ASP/CDONTS,etc.We just implemented something similar few weeks ago.
