1. Identify all key stakeholders, solicit their information needs and develop a communication plan based on those findings.
2. Revisit and refine the communication plan regularly over the project's life based on communication issues which emerge or changes in stakeholders.
3. Ensure that sufficient context is provided when sharing information with stakeholders to avoid unnecessary panic.

Ricardo, I would agree with Kiron. One more thing I would add from experience is that, for the most part, try to address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively because this demonstrates responsiveness and shows stakeholders that their input is valued which boosts their trust in you! Ricardo,
Based on my experience, communication management is one of the hardest areas within project management, at least for me. Both Kiron and Rami touched on the key points. I would only add that you customize or tailor your communication based on the stakeholder's needs. That would cut down on unnecessary "noises" in the communication and improve the effectiveness of your communication. Saving Changes...

Thanks Ricardo!
Re: "good practices to manage communication with project stakeholders."
First, seek out and identify those *major* project stakeholders.
Engage them right at the front-end to listen and understand their insights and concerns.
Use various/multiple communication, and collaboration to assure they learn of the issues,
prior to reading about it in the news.

Hi... one very simple practice we use during the project cycle is using group chats. A pre-construction meeting is conducted inviting all identified stakeholders. When all major stakeholders are identified, they are invited to a group chat where all concerns can be communicated and addressed promptly at any given time during the project life cycle . These group chats provides a venue for real time communication for all major stakeholders, a basis for calling for face to face meetings when necessary, conveying vital project data, and many more. This is one of the most simple but useful tool considering that social media and other communications platform are vastly available and widely used these days. It has worked for us and we find it very effective and efficient so far... Saving Changes...
