I'm new to Planner and have to agree with the negative comments on the forum. Planner is great at some things, easy to use, ties right into Teams. Oddly, though, we can't get ours to update the Team channel with any update to tasks. There is also no task dependencies and no way to "see" across Teams to other Planners to get a big picture of work being delivered. Milestones are also something missing if you use those. I started using Planner back in early March and the new Planner was released a few weeks after so I am not familiar enough with it to tell what if anything changed at all. Other than the logo.
