I just want us to look at this word; 'Mastery' is beyond knowing what to do but a combination of continuous learning, practices and actions that give authority with a different view, understanding, strategy and analysis to discovery, fact, theory or programme delivery.
It is the ability to change without interruption nor disruption of programme, goals or plan.
However, there might be little hitches as human but no major breakdown, effect or disruption on yourself and goal or programme.
The ability to change the cause of things per time without loosing oneself or focus.
This shows continuity, sustainability, resilience and focus on goals delivery with accurate effectiveness on your part.
Mastery is beyond one skill, technique or strategy application in programme or project management. It is a multi-dimensional problems solving skills and knowledge.
It is a multi-faceted strategies or techniques of handling programme or project at the same, when trying to navigate a complex challenge and getting a result without loosing focus or mind in the goal or programme. It has different approaches of execution but same result. Different approaches of handling issues, challenges but getting the same result.
In other words, it is the act of knowing what to do at every point in life, goal or programme and acting on them without loosing oneself, focus or experience disruption on the goal but smooth change in the cause of events and at the end results.
What is your opinion?
Thank you.

I think one way to think of Mastery is the ability to teach it to someone else, but be open enough to learn. I think there is a certain time prior to mastering a subject. Everyone has so many different experiences, you can be a master of a subject and a novice of another subject. One good thing is when you learn a methodology, whether it be a project methodology like PMP or IT Project methodology like ITIL 4, you can always use that knowledge so it doesn't feel like you're starting from scratch.

Thank you! I think the ability to respond to others and process when getting the goal done, should not affect the workforce or place, your emotional intelligence in the midst of challenges should not conflict with organizational culture just because you want a job done, then you are into whatever way
Yours concern is get the job done or result, your approaches conflict with the environment, organization or workforce does not matter to you
Or your teaching attitude conflict with others but what you know or mastered must be passed
I think one's approaches is important and matters a lot
