Latricia, I would assume you meant AI. I don't think they will necessarily be stronger but I believe they will be more efficient as they focus more on value added tasks.

Dear all
It seems there might be a typo in your message. If you’re referring to AI, which stands for Artificial Intelligence, then yes, I agree that project teams can be significantly strengthened with AI integration. AI can offer numerous benefits such as:
Enhanced Efficiency: Automating routine tasks to save time and reduce errors.
Improved Decision Making: Providing data-driven insights to help teams make informed decisions.
Innovation: Encouraging creative problem-solving by identifying patterns and opportunities that may not be immediately obvious.
AI can be a powerful tool for project teams, especially when used to complement human skills and creativity.

First of all, let me say that AI is a boarder term and AI is surrounded us from more than 40 years ago, including it things related to project/program/portfolio management. It becomes a new buzzword because the massive use of generative AI. One of the fathers of agile software engineering and friend of mine wrote some month ago: generative AI is making 90% of my abilities obsolete but is multiply the remaining 10% by 1000. I believe on that. Project/Program/Portfolio management is going to disappear at least in the way have been originally defined. I think the PMI is aware on that and is working to reinvent the profession. For example, take a look to the 3 layer model proposed by the PMI. Based on my personal experience using AI from 1989 I think the model is useful. Beyond that people should not forgot a key concept in AI: human in the loop.

AI technologies can offer valuable insights, optimize processes, and assist in decision-making, ultimately contributing to stronger project outcomes. However, it's important to acknowledge that AI is just one tool among many, and its success depends on how well it's integrated into existing workflows and the expertise of the team using it. While AI can undoubtedly bring benefits, it's essential to also recognize the importance of human creativity, intuition, and collaboration in driving project success. So, while AI can bolster project teams, the extent of its impact depends on various factors, and a balanced approach that leverages both AI and human capabilities is often the most effective.
