PMI applies precise differentiated prices per country and being a member of PMI you have a differential price according to the situation of each country and region.
You can talk to the company where you work so that they finance the exam, there are many companies that knowing the importance of their employees to have the certification finance their preparation and exam. So the first step would be to talk to the management of your company.

Akintunde, I agree with Fabian. From what Ive heard, PMI fees are different per country.

Besides what Fabian mentioned, you can also give it a shot and check if PMI can provide you with a discount code!

Speaking from experience, I have tried to pay the PMI exam fees from 2 different countries in different continents and the fees were the same. Albeit, I agree with Fabian and Rami - You should try getting your employer to sponsor you regardless of an existing policy or not. Keep in mind you may be required to write a business case to get your employer's buy in. All the best!
