Laura -- Some background: I am an estimator and project manager in Denver Colorado. Working for a Commercial Design-Build Mechanical Contractor (Doing Hydronics, Plumbing, Heating, HVAC Systems) for clients and general contractors. We are doing thousands of projects each year operating multiple software systems, processes, and facilities. We are like any other large commercial entity operating in the traditional construction industry doing hundreds of millions of dollars of work annually. We are embarking on incorporating Artificial Intelligence, pervasive remote monitoring, and automation into that same traditional construction industry. It is a bewildering endeavor. --- I was looking for other PMI professionals traveling the very same pathway. (Intelligently incorporating AI solutions) I was hoping to leverage the wisdom of crowds as we execute our strategy. Thanks, Pat

AI is a boarder term. In fact AI is using in construction from long time ago. For example, inside the machines like excabators for example. But regarding you are talking about perhaps you can get advantage of the new models used in generative AI. The key thing is to start an initiative creating a fine tuning over existing foundational models (linke ChatGPT) but using your own data as the primary layer. I am working in the biggest consulting firm leading that movement but I do not like to use this room trying to get advantage. This is just my peronal space to learn from people comments and improve myself. The comment is because lot of companies are doing that. For example, take a look to PMI´s Infinity.
