For titles, I prefer simple numbering systems like PM 1-6 to descriptors like jr., senior, specialist, senior specialist, double super senior, etc. My job title has changed many times and it's usually pretty meaningless outside my organization.
Levels may correspond to a few key qualities like project scope, technical expertise, and level of oversight required. Level 1 might be narrow scope and technical difficulty within their own org. The top level might indicate a global expert in their field making strategic decisions for the PMO. The individual grading items and their relative balance will be very dependent on the organization and what their vision is of a "project manager". Saving Changes...
