Should the future version of PMBOK include a section on leaveraging Generative AI and Prompt Engineering in Projeject Management?

A true body of knowledge should always evolve to include newer developments in a given field. Whether it merits a separate section for generative AI is question of editorial debate. It doesn't include things like spreadsheet modeling which is very powerful and can be the subject of entire university courses so I'm not sure how much of the PMBoK PMI should devote to new tool trends rather than focusing on the fundamental principles.

Not at all. Not a session. Perhaps it must be included as techniques and tools. I guess the PMI is on that way. I guess that just taking a look to both courses delivery for free about generative AI.
