Validating and checking outputs is critical when working with AI systems like Generative AI. Such validation approaches may include establishing clear criteria, implementing strong testing protocols, and continuous refinement.

In your experience with AI, what are some best practices for ensuring the results you receive are accurate, relevant, and aligned with your original goals?

Important to ensure that your data is accurate, ask precise questions, and evaluate the results. Trust but verify the data that was produced. Results may vary depending on the AI tools and how the question is phrased when using specific requirements. I like to play with it and see how much it changes. After determining these factors, the process can proceed effectively.

Some best practices for ensuring the results in my experiences are by being specific, providing context with examples(providing content information/document removing sensitive information) and with right tone and chain of feedback have received results as expected to the original goals.

I believe that to get a good response, it's essential to be clear about what we want to know, how we want the response (format and/or information structure), what type of role we play, what type of users it will be aimed at, and the general context. This, I believe, should be the minimum information in a prompt to ensure a response tailored to our needs.

To get accurate and goal-aligned results from AI systems, start with clear, specific prompts that define the task, context, and constraints. Treat the AI as a strategic partner—assign roles, break tasks into steps, and iterate as needed. Always validate outputs against trusted sources, and tailor responses to your audience or compliance needs. By maintaining oversight and documenting your process, you ensure transparency, relevance, and continuous improvement while keeping human judgment at the center.

I consider these actions to be very helpful ensuring results accuracy:
- Define clear objectives and acceptance criteria.
- Benchmark and select the right AI/tool
- Use updated and verified inputs.
- Develop and inforce usage of structured Prompts
- Keep a human-in-the-loop for expert review.
