I currently have the challenge of delivering Governance and PMO for one of the PMI chapters here in Brazil. What can you share with me about how you do project governance in your chapter? What tools do you use, routines, standards, templates, chapter structure? Can we do some benchmarking?

My recommendation is going to the PMI directly to give you point of contact in chapters of other countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile.

Hi Luis, I have had the honor of serving my chapter, Puget Sound Chapter, as VP of Operations for 2 terms. One of the major areas of reponsibility of this role was chapter Governance. I think the easiest way to start is to share our Governance Guidelines.

Let me know if you have questions about this.

Luis, I highly recommend attending PMI’s Leadership Institute Meetings (LIM) or any regional meetings. These events are excellent for face-to-face discussions with governance professionals and sharing best practices.
