With Generative AI, iteratively refining and optimizing prompts can lead to better AI-generated results. This may involve adjusting the specificity or clarity of the prompt to increase relevance and accuracy of results.

What examples do you have of how improving a prompt drastically changed the output quality?  What specific changes did you make that led to the improvement?

Being concise and specific helps the AI to give some valuable answers. It also learns with time as you ask further questions.
Yes I agree, in addition to that, what makes your results unique is your creativity.

Totally. In fact, I must admit that many times I have realized that I lost time because I started with the wrong prompt and tried to improve it during the conversation, only to discover in the end that it would have been better to start again from scratch with a proper prompt.

I have started to provide tone prompt and audience prompt: ie, message to executives, professional yet friendly - I get the AI output edit I need almost immediately.

the changes that made were to the technique Create, its really more specific, and that makes the imperative progress more and more. in construction of hospitals you must be very specific because the variety of medical devices is so huge not all the scenarios are the same. that is why you must give more details to the prompts.

In my experience, refining a prompt has significantly improved the quality of outputs I get from GenAI. When I’m specific about the audience, purpose, tone, and key details, the response becomes more accurate and almost ready to use. I’ve noticed that adding context or defining a role helps the AI produce more professional and relevant results. Overall, the more structured and clear my prompts are, the better the outcome.

In my experience, refining a prompt can completely transform the output from something generic and unusable to something precise, structured, and decision-ready. The biggest improvement comes from adding context, constraints, and a clear objective. Instead of asking broadly, I guide the model with role, format, and expectations, which significantly increases relevance and reduces iteration time

I treat it like a conversation and reframe as needed until I receive the output that I'm looking for.

I usually break down commands in the form of sequential interconnected steps or steps that lead to an outcome. This method makes AI responses richer, more accurate, and more goal-oriented
