With Generative AI, iteratively refining and optimizing prompts can lead to better AI-generated results. This may involve adjusting the specificity or clarity of the prompt to increase relevance and accuracy of results.

What examples do you have of how improving a prompt drastically changed the output quality?  What specific changes did you make that led to the improvement?

Break it down questions and prompt step by step. There should not be repeated questions and share reference data/spreadsheet to exact answers.

Yes, just like what you request from a genie in the lamp, phrasing is important.

In my experience, refining a prompt often turns vague or generic output into sharp, actionable insights. A small tweak in clarity, tone, or structure can completely shift the depth, relevance, and usefulness of the response. Prompting is half the outcome.

There can be many. AI tends to hallucinate meaning that it will makeup information, there are ethical considerations where the model could be bias, there are legal issues with data confidentiality and liability for AI's answers used in communicated to customers or the general public.

When prompting the AI to compare products, I specify a side-by-side table with relevant features and info to compare. Organizing features, specifications, and pros and cons into clear columns improved readability and allowed to make confident decisions.

"Nearly every great advance in science arises from a crisis in the old theory, through an endeavor to find a way out of the difficulties created. We must examine old ideas, old theories, although they belong to the past, for this is the only way to understand the importance of the new ones and the extent of their validity."
