With Generative AI, iteratively refining and optimizing prompts can lead to better AI-generated results. This may involve adjusting the specificity or clarity of the prompt to increase relevance and accuracy of results.

What examples do you have of how improving a prompt drastically changed the output quality?  What specific changes did you make that led to the improvement?

For me, the way we interact with the AI is as we interact as human beings. We can create our own avatar and request AI to be any avatar that we wish to. The hard work will be more to create the AI avatar that we want.

The AI's response definitely depends a lot on how clear and specific our question is.

In my experience with GenAI, refining a prompt can completely change the quality of the response. Sometimes the first attempt feels too general or misses the point, but when I adjust the wording—adding more context, being clearer about the tone I want, or breaking down the request—the output suddenly becomes much more relevant and useful. It feels a bit like having a conversation: the more specific and thoughtful I am in asking, the better the answer I get back.

I have found some of the most success with using a Flipped Interaction to help me organize my thoughts and create a better initial prompt using the CREATE model. Sometimes the GenAI tool will generate questions I hadn't even considered that help me create better prompts. Likewise, sometimes it asks questions that aren't relevant and I can start refining the output before having even entered a prompt by knowing the lines on which the tool is thinking.

a lot, as "discussing with AI", gives feedback to the first response and it'd get better
