Anything that can be automatized must be automatized. Then, AI projects are a lot from more than 40 years ago. For example in manufacturing automation what today some people call manufacturing 4.0. And so on. What is growing is specific AI solutions based on generative AI:

Sergio, you are very correct, but I was more interested in how deep into manufacturing and Medical AI. AI has saturated those fields and many more.
Right or wrong, I consider AI (to some degree) to have been deployed into Medicine (Robotics for operations as an example), and Manufacturing (Automated Assemble lines).
If we just looked at those two fields, would we consider them to use AI?
But first we need to define AI. Is it robots (?), Is it repetitive processes with no logic. etc..(?). then we could better determine growth over time and expected growth going forward. (Thanks for responding)

You are welcome Val. Believe me, I worked in both fields using AI from more than 20 years ago. And AI is present in more than the two capabilities you posted. I do not see "saturation" at all in both fields and other fields. As you know AI is a broad term that in the last years "explode" when google published in 2017 the new generative AI architectura called "Transformers" and things like ChatGPT was born. Regarding what is AI it was defined in 1945 (at least) and people can find the definitions inside lot of places. In my case I studied in Carnegie Mellon and it is my reference. So, I think is better going to the right sources.
