PMP exam Onvue system technical issues

I had my PMP exam schedule to take remotely and I was all prepared with system checks ahead of time. At the time of check-in, my process went smooth until the Onvue system  conducted a quick system test to get me to the next stage of loading my exam and never really loaded my exam. I called the support line, emailed and sent a message on their online chat system and received no help. I couldn't take my test, this was an extremely unpleasant experience and I received no support and all the step by step instructions were also confusing. I am still waiting for my email response and will be contacting them again to get a refund and rescheduled. Anyone else has had issues similar to this? Its very unfortunate that its so difficult to get a certification exam done.

Please contact PMI Customer Care - https://www.pmi.org/about/contact - as soon as possible to explain the situation as stated above. They can support you and perhaps allow you to re-schedule without being penalized. I sincerely hope this helps!
I had my CAPM scheduled to be done online. I did a system check two days ago and everything was okay. I checked in 45 minutes earlier and Onvue couldn't let me proceed . It was like my connection is bad and I couldn't proceed further. I did a speed test and everything was okay. I also tried clearing everything and downloading Onvue but still nothing worked. My exam was to be done at 8:00 EAT meaning it was outside the customer care service working time in UK. . Worst part is calling from Kenya costed like $5 a minute💀. I just feel frustrated and I don't know what to do. I had prepared for this exam and I was to use the certification for my upcoming interview. It's really frustrating that you have to go through all this in the final minute of your exam. Anyways, I hope getting feedback won't take a lot of time

I had my PMP exam today 8am ADT 27th September 2024 on the Pearson VUE platform. It was not a pleasant experience. First, I struggled to get logged into the exam as my system which I had tested earlier refused to grant me access. Luckily I was able to resolve that and start the exam. After answering 161/180 questions with 32 mins left in the exams, the Pearson VUE platform froze. I was worried because no one called to say anything, no assistance or help after 3 hours of sitting down rooted to a spot. I went on line and was able to chat with someone (Vincent) who said they had opened a case number and should get back to me. After 1 hour of waiting, I went back to the chat room and chatted with someone else (Douglas) who confirmed that no one was working on the case at the moment - 0ne hour into the problem. I was confused and traumatized as I could not operate my computer since they had remote control of it. The support person advised I should do a hard shutdown of my computer and wait for Pearson VUE. This is 6 hours after doing that without any response. I went to the Pearson VUE portal and it says I have taken the exam. I am confused and don't know what to do.

I have exactly the same issue.
I doing a "system test", and everything goes well until it reaches the network connection test, which stops at 75%. After failing apparently it is a problem with *.cloud.WOWZA.com

Contacted PMI customer service and they just push me to Pearsonvue helpdesk... which is really NOT HELPFUL...

I googled around and seems like this is a common issue. To be honest, if PMI is not sincerely to offer online exam or this vendor is not offering a solution that can be use globally, maybe can consider to remove this.

I had the exact same issue that others have mentioned. I checked my system a week ago, again yesterday, and even just two hours before my exam and everything was working fine. However, when I went to check-in 30 minutes before my exam, I received an error message stating there was an issue with my system. I tried calling, but the office was closed. I then followed the online chat prompts, but they were unhelpful, advising me to wait for a coordinator to investigate, and that i’d receive an email once this was resolved. This is absolutely frustrating, especially on a day I’ve been preparing for, and it’s been a terrible experience overall.

At everyone in this thread, I appreciate knowing that I am sharing your company with the unpleasant Onvue/Pearson VUE platform to take the PMP exam remotely. I, too, felt confused and traumatized by the experience on 2/7/2025. I think it is important that the system test instructions clearly state that an external webcam is required. I encountered difficulties with my first proctor was not sure how to navigate the inspection process since my computer is an all-in-one with an integrated webcam. I have to say I am disappointed by the unpleasant "welcome" to taking a long exam and anticipate that these technical and proctoring issues are resolved to facilitate an improved testing experience.

while I am checking for system requirements, it is always showing video streaming issues are detected, while checking all troubleshoot requirement still not yet done what to do??

I have my test scheduled for later tonight but just testing my system tests again and it is giving me this system network error after testing mic, camera and speakers. I have tried 3 of my friends laptops and my partners laptop over the last 3 hours to no avail, still same issue. This is a very distressing experience and I hope i can successfully get to check in for this exam. I have previously taken online exams without issues but this experience is nothing close to been pleasant. There is also no online chat support to provide guidance as today is Sunday 13th April, 2025. The experience has to be better!
