3 things you should know about personality and project manager success

1. Certain personality traits can indicate how well PMs will handle particular situations.


2. High ‘openness to experience,’ for example, can indicate that a person will handle non-routine circumstances easily, while somebody who rates low on this trait might perform better in familiar environments and predictable situations.


3. The ‘conscientiousness’ trait is a good predictor of job performance in other professions and most likely correlates with PM performance in most contexts.
