How many of us here also maintain active profiles in LinkedIn?

Do we use it just for different things, or do we duplicate much of what we do here?

What are you favourite PM-related groups in LinkedIn?

I have an active profile on Linked in. I use it to keep track of collegues I have worked with in the past. It is too easy to lose track of people and linked in is a great way to keep in touch. It is much broader than just the project management community, I include anyone I have worked with or done business with at some time.

Also if I need someone on a project I have a network of people I can ask.

Definitely an active linkedin-er, it is so important to keep things like this up to date and active - in fact last year I received an email to say that my profile had been one of the top 10% most viewed profiles in the world.

Today, I had a call from a former colleague I hadn't spoken to in over 6 years.

Similarly, I've found people long after I thought I would ever "need" to speak with them... good colleagues and old friends, all need somewhere to stay in touch.

I don't tend to use the groups too much, because they can swamp your inbox far too quickly.

I'm not active on LinkedIn, and I only use it to connect with people with whom I have worked, so I decline a lot of requests. I am part of groups and read the digests, but I rarely comment.
