In my opinion EV has been done so much by so many, that it is a bit of a boring choice. Try to do something a little different. If I were in your situation I'd do something related to project controls in a feedback environment - what happens to control of a schedule where a small change tends to snowball into ever increasing delay, and how to place controls that "break" such a feedback. ? Comparisons /issues of various methodologies for determination of Construction Time and Extension of Time for Construction
Engineering Projects.
? Schedule Delay Analysis in Construction Projects: Window analysis or time impact analysis, as built –as planned Analysis using P6.
? Assessing Methodologies for Quantifying Lost Productivity: measured mile approach (project specific measurement), total cost method, comparative approach etc.
