In my experience as an architectural project manager, the tightrope walk between client dreams and project realities is a constant battle. Clients get excited and envision changes as the design unfolds. My biggest challenge is managing those changes (scope creep) without blowing up the budget or schedule. It's about finding creative solutions that satisfy the client's vision while staying grounded in what's achievable. The other monster I wrestle with all the time is keeping everyone on the same page. There are so many cooks in the kitchen on an architectural project – the client, designers, engineers, contractors, inspectors...the list goes on! It takes a lot of clear communication, negotiation, and sometimes even playing peacemaker to ensure everyone understands the goals and works together smoothly.

Passive Resistance: Pretend to go along with the process - providing lip service - but has “who cares” attitude.

Biggest problem is the fight against inertia
