Why do only 33 badges display?

OK, I've admitted it before, I'm an "award" junkie, and maybe I don't NEED so many badges here, but I've got them, and in most cases have taken some effort, so it is a little sad that only 33 will display on the profile - the rest are just empty spaces.

I've only got about half the PM University ones and intend to work through the rest of that, and as I add content in various places here I expect a few others will accrue. I'm certainly a long way from having a "full set", but I don't want some of the early ones to just go.

Is this a bug, or a decision to curb excessive collectors (I'll plead guilty as charged!).

If it has to be this way, could it at least be sensible - it doesn't need to display earlier ones that have been superseeded, for example if you are at "Guru' on PMPrep (1,000 correctly answered) it really doesn't make sense to still display "Brain" (5 correct) or the other 5 lower levels. Likewise if you have the "Smartypants" (40 answers in discussions) then "know-it-all" (10 answers) is pretty much irrelevant. If it cleared these off would make sense, but don't just lose the earliest.
