Assistance with Translating Military Experience into Project Management

Good afternoon all,

I am in the process of preparing for the PMI-ACP certification after earning my CAPM certification two days ago. However, I am struggling to translate my military experience (14 years) into traditional and agile project management. Are there any veterans or current service members who can assist me? I'm working on a description of some missions I've done, and just wanted to have someone review them.
