Doctor Who 50th Anniversary question

For all you fans out there, have you ever noticed that any given Doctor Who story is actually a project? A situation or requirement is identified, some analysis and planning occurs, resources are procurred and actions are assigned to them, changes, issues and risks are managed, and in the end closure is achieved and some benefits realised. Lessons are learned, often some threads remain that are allocated to future work, and what has occurred is always CHANGE, not BAU!

Bearing that in mind, who, out of the many Doctors, do you consider the best PM, and why? Any good Whovian analogies you've used in your projects? And any projects you've encountered that were so doomed that you wished for the groaning sound of the Tardis arriving as the only possible salvation?

Really interesting analogy. Let's see...

My favourite PM is definitely Tom Baker. His cosy, multi-functional scarf would come in handy for any project and having jelly babies at hand throughout a project could smooth many an awkward moment or just be used as a pick me up - or a way of celebrating a huge break-through.

Second place is tied between David Tennant and Matt Smith - both bundles of boundless energy that could inspire any project team.

I have often wished for a sonic screwdriver to provide an instant fix. Unfortunately, I think people (like wood) would prove difficult...
