Failed PMP :( It's not obvious how to study to take it again.

I just barely failed the PMP - first attempt. I used the PMP Exam Prep Simplified book from Andrew Ramdayal. I loved his course and book, but the mock test did not reflect the actual test.

I need to focus on the process knowledge area but since the questions are scenario-based, I'm not sure how to actually study since the book I have doesn't provide usecases. Please help. I want to retake the test in a couple weeks while it's still fresh but lack a strategy for how to study.

Greetings,
I took my PMP exam today (second attempt) and failed.
I did improve BT/BT/AT and really thought I was ready and had it.
The first time around I used AR book, Some of the PMBOK and PMI SH.
The second time around I did more AR book, some Rita, PMBOK and Prep Cast which by the way is just like the exam. I did all that I was supposed to in order to prepare only to fail again. I have until May of 2026 to take my last one and I am one who doesn't want to lose momentum but I am not sure where to start. Certainly I can focus on Process and People and continue to quiz myself until my eyes fall out but really asking you all what you would suggest?

Sorry to hear that. All I can tell you is that when you receive your exam analysis, you should focus on the areas where you scored lowest. Good Luck!

Hi,
Andre Ramdayal's questions do not represent the PM hardness. The Prep Cast by Corneliou does. A wondeful tool.
