Kerrie, check Rita Mulchay's exam prep book but don't stress too much about those. Tyr to understand the concept behind them more than the equation itself because as far as I've hear, there are minimal questions on those. Saving Changes...

My recommendation is taking a look to PMI´s standard on the matter. Adding to that use Infinity genAI tool delivered by the PMI to get all you need about that. Saving Changes...
I agree that understanding the concepts is more important than the formulas, and I'm glad that there are less questions involving EVM than when I took the test.
I am a competent engineer, but very bad at memorization and when people ask me to tutor them in how to pick the formulas without understanding why they are what they are, I really struggle
EV is all about the slope of a line y = mx+b. The future state expected is where you are now (b), adjusted for how much time you have left (x) plus what you think you can complete in a given time based on your prior performance (m). Or in other words, if I'm here now and I perform at the same rate as before, here is my projected outcome.
Rather than try to memorize the formulas, I emphasize what the terms themselves mean, and then I can re-create them in the few times I will ever have to do that in my career, when I can't look up any formula I need,. Saving Changes...
