We are in the calm before the true storm. Once AGI becomes a reality or we hit the acceleration "bend" in the hockey stick, I'd agree that the pace of change will be very quick but right now, what I've seen is the typical adoption curve with some organizations electing to be early adopters and the mass market sitting back and just dipping their toes in the water.
What will be interesting to see is if near term, upcoming AI advances are able to skip the usual chasm between early adopters and mainstream adoption or do they risk the usual challenges of crossing the chasm.
Gregg,
True that! Almost all orgaisations are investing in GenAI solutions in some way. Stakeholders frequently ask questions like how are you planning to use AI solution in it or are you planning to use any AI solution in this project, etc. To cope with this change, many organisation are also investing in training their employees about AI and its implications. However, for some organisations it might still be challenging due to budget constraints, local data regulation policies, skill shortage, etc. It reminds of a quote, "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change." Saving Changes...
