Which of the following actions would NOT be recommended to Improve the result of the PMO ROI? Options:
A- Expand the scope of projects under the PMO mandate.
B- Reduce PMO costs and modify selected functions for the PMO.
C- Allow the PMO to take a more strategic approach, focusing on the business of the organization.
D- To evolve the maturity of the functions selected for the PMO and to develop the competencies of the PMO members.

Please provide your response to the above.

Secondly any recommended website to purchase the Mock Tests for PMO-CP (Project Management Office Certified Professional) exam?

Thanks,
Ahmad Nawaz Cheema

Ahmad, in my opinion, option B is the most correct answer because if you apply this, it could potentially harm the PMO’s ability to deliver value if it results in diminished quality or capability. It’s important to carefully consider any cost reduction and modification of functions to ensure they do not adversely affect the PMO's overall effectiveness and contribution to ROI.

Regarding PMO-CP mock-up questions, I am not currently aware of any resources. The current exam as far as I recall is 40 questions and course based. Questions are not very difficult but requires deep understanding of the concepts. Good Luck!

Mr. Cheema,

In my opition, opction A.

Expanding the scope of projects under the PMO mandate would not be recommended to improve the PMO ROI at this time.

Focusing on delivering the current commitments and achieving tangible results should be the priority. Increasing the PMO's responsibilities and complexity prematurely could potentially hinder its efficiency and impact its return on investment.
