I'm in the process of opening up a project management office for a new company.

I would like some information from colleagues, communities and chapters.

The gaps to be addressed include;
1.PM delivery Processes
2.Toll gates
3.Change management process
4.Sponsor approvals
5.Account management and document sign offs.

There's a good book on PMO set up by Peter Taylor called Leading Successful PMOs. You can read more about it here. It might give you some good ideas of where to start, as it sounds as if you have a big job on your hands!
