Hello everyone!

With less than 3 weeks to go before PMI® Global Summit 2024, our second “Question of the Week Series,” is posted below:

Question #2: How do you manage your time during conferences? Do you find it more valuable to attend as many sessions as possible, or is it better to space them out and pick the sessions that truly appeal to you?

Your answers will benefit folks in the community who will be attending their very first PMI event, so please send us your comments! We look forward to hearing from you!

This really comes down to what you are hoping to get out of it and where you are in your journey.

For someone who is trying to maximize PDUs, you'd cram in as many sessions as possible, whereas someone who is interested in a specific topic might be a bit more choosy.

Spacing them out also allows sufficient time to digest what you have heard and curate that knowledge into useful notes which is harder to do when you are racing session-to-session.

Finally, spacing out sessions gives more time for networking which is really the primary reason to attend an in-person event such as GS.
