I have recently left the education sector and am transitioning into Project Management in either the Energy, Defence or Technology sectors.  With over five years of running projects, alongside my career as a teacher. I am struggling to secure interviews for positions and am wondering if anyone has a career coach or advisor they have used, who will not break the bank to help. Even a mentor would be of great help. Thank you in advance for any ideas or assistance that you offer.

I would suggest checking if there is a mentorship program in place with your local PMI chapter as many do have them and it would be ideal to find a local mentor.

If you have no luck with that, feel free to send me a private message as I do mentor a few practitioners (remotely).

Hello Kiron,

Thank you for reaching out and responding! I will have a look at what I can find in my local chapter to see what programs they have in place. Failing that, I will reach out to you privately, thank you for that!

Bart,
if your local chapter doesn't offer that program, you can look to other chapters that are closer to you.

Good luck,
