Hello Community!

With less than 2 weeks to go before PMI® Global Summit 2024, our third “Question of the Week Series,” is posted below:

Question #3: During downtime, what is one thing you would like to do while in Los Angeles, especially if visiting for the first time?

Your responses will benefit folks in the community who will be attending their very first PMI event, so please send us your comments. We look forward to hearing from you!

Well.... there's something about that big HOLLYWOOD sign on the hill!

I'm heading to a baseball game with the PMI Utah Chapter board team, and do I have any clue about baseball? Absolutely none! But hey, I'm always up for learning something new. Let’s see if I can figure out the difference between a home run and a strike before the game's over!

Wow, Mayte, how exciting to attend a Dodger's game! MLB is one of the easier games to follow, rules wise, so don't worry about your lack of knowledge. Once you're there, you will pick it up straight away, I guarantee it:-) You can also watch some games beforehand so you're well prepared. Have fun!

I want to take many pictures, feeling like a star!
I've made a list of some places, but I'm not sure if I will visit all of them. The distances are significant in the USA. I tend to see cities in Europe by walking or by public transportation.

Thanks for sharing, Yasmina! I agree, there are so many places to see in LA, it can get a bit overwhelming! Prioritize your "must" sees, as LA is definitely not a "walking type" of city. Have fun and travel with a buddy!

Kimberly, the tip of traveling with a buddy is a good one, LA is a big city with tons of offerings and if Yasmina know some locals will be more fun and easy to enjoy the city!
