You could consider the relationship between a pure project management methodology and the delivery life cycle it is managing. For example how would you use PMBoK or Prince 2 to manage an AGILE IT system development, could you so it successfully? What about a COTS implementation?
So often the System/Product/Construction/xxxx Delivery Life Cycle is lumped in with the PM Method which muddies the waters as to what exactly project management is about. Even PMBoK has different "flavours" added to the PMBoK for different types of project delivery.

I'm more concerned about construction project management & how much the general standards & frameworks & also methodology are capable to be used globally & how much they were used in a certain regain after all I want to see how others have managed their projects and what the achieved with their standards & methodology Saving Changes...
