Umesh, yes, agree with Rami, Prosci seems to be the dominant certification, while there are many. Prosci comes with their bespoke ADKAR framework. From a professional change manager I would expect to have knowledge about a broader set of theories and frameworks, for example by Lewin or Kotter.
In my view, Change Management is an example of how project management must be more holistic, involving the human side but beyond this the world (sustainability).

Would like to offer one caveat: frameworks like ADKAR are sort-of-siblings of the PMBoK because they stipulate "follow these steps and good things will happen". Where most of them fall short is the people/groups diagnostics part of organizational change management. I hold the Certified Change Management Professional from the Association of Change Management Professionals. It is very similar in rigor to the PMP and PMI-ACP, but not as expensive as Prosci and (like the PMBOK) not tied to any particular methodology. Saving Changes...
