Leadership in hybrid projects

What would be your best hints to lead effectively hybrid projects both from perspective of the team and the stakeholders?

Can you clarify if you mean projects which are utilizing a hybrid delivery approach or projects where the team members are a combination of on-site and off-site/off-shore personnel?

In my personal experience in a company I was working where we have the 3 different appoaches to run projects and the same person could be assigned to an agile based project and an hybrid project the key is to understand the governance model and the governance model has to be defined as a layer of abstraction regarding the approach. I was part of the group that was in charge to define this type of things and help to put it in the practice.
