Great question. Like others have mentioned, I also take a different approach to networking here and on LinkedIn. Here, I accept all connection requests, while on LinkedIn, I take the time to review profiles more carefully. I've developed a kind of "sixth sense" for identifying individuals who send connection requests on LinkedIn only to follow up with commercial or promotional messages.
