Are we smart that AI - we ca always be better

I do live in SF, Ca and when i walk with my dog and Waymo AI car gently pass and allow me to cross while i have to debate with some human on the wheel . it make me think , it is our responsibility to be better instead of fight with AI. Being the best human we can be still a conversation

Erika, you make a very good point. Making the world a better world always starts with us!

Fully agree, Rami.

Erika, fighting is a cultural habit in the Western world. In many Asian countries, living in harmony, using indirect approaches, and having smooth transformations help people get along. Empathy and caring about others helps. Learning about these concepts widens our perspectives and can reduce our fears and aggressions.

The topic you've raised is indeed a compelling one, worthy of thoughtful consideration. The foundation of addressing such complex issues invariably begins with introspection and self-awareness.
When an individual finds themselves in an environment that appears misaligned with their core principles and values, it necessitates a careful evaluation of the situation.
This assessment should encompass two primary considerations:

1) firstly, whether the individual has inadvertently positioned themselves in an unsuitable environment,
2) secondly, whether there exists an opportunity or responsibility to exert a positive influence on the environment, potentially catalyzing meaningful change.

This dichotomy between personal adaptation and environmental influence presents a nuanced challenge, requiring both critical thinking and ethical reflection to navigate effectively.

People have a hard time changing, and all change takes time until it becomes natural, so it is important to adapt quickly, as it is a competitive advantage

I recently came across McKinsey's article, "Technology alone is never enough for true productivity." The article discusses how technology continues to change how we work, with AI as its latest and greatest disruptor. It concludes that real productivity happens only when companies holistically rethink how they do business.

The authors emphasized a key argument, "If you're looking to automate the workers, they won't help you. If you're looking to augment them and help them do their job better—with higher quality in a faster, more productive way—they're going to help you with those tough questions of how to be more creative."

Let's embrace change with awareness as the first step. Let's consider the goal of technology, which is to augment our abilities. But we (humans) shape how we use technology, and we (people) should improve ourselves alongside technology. However, human behavior is not always purely logical.

AI is a board term. Lot of AI entities are around us from more than 40 years ago and help us to have a "better life": refrigerators, air conditioners, cardiac pacemaker, etc, etc. Unfortunately, for me that I am working and researching on AI from 1989, the new generative AI model has a negative side: it is using for lot of people like a synonym of AI. And that creates a general confusion outside there. But it is not the first time that some terms becomes buzzwords.

No mundo entre inteligência artificial e comportamento humano, ambos têm seus passos únicos. A IA traz lógica e eficiência, mas o humano traz empatia e criatividade. Juntos, formam uma coreografia fascinante.” 💃🤖🕺
