Prisca, my two cents are:

1) Foster Open Communication and create an environment where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, feedback, and concerns.

2) Recognize Achievements and celebrate both individual and team successes, no matter how small they are.

Great questions
I like to go BIG when it comes to motivating teams.
B - Be available. Don't make yourself hard to find.
I - Interact. Use face-2-face or video conferences to engage. Don't have email/or some type of Instant Message be your sole communication source. Have you ever heard of "management by walking around"
G - Get away from work. By this, I mean turn the topic away from work from time to time. Survey the team to see if there are common interests. We talk about movies and do movie trivia.

3 ways to motivate your team

1. Connect: Know each person's strengths and work together towards a common goal.
2. Collaborate: Share ideas, listen to each other, and let team members take charge.
3. Celebrate: Praise progress, learn from mistakes, and have fun together!

Do this and your team will feel happy, trusted, and excited to achieve more!
